"The Association" wants to be a dynamic team that promotes the journey towards excellence by acquiring the skills necessary for the practice of recreational and competitive skateboarding in a friendly environment. Through the professionalism of its stakeholders, the effectiveness of its actions and the excellence of its athletes, it aims to be a model that can inspire and promote the values it conveys.
Mission
Gatineau Skateboard is an association focused on the development of the practice of skateboarding . Indeed, in order to promote safe and high-level practice, we offer initiations, lessons and skateboarding day camps for young people aged 5 to 12 years old. Also, with the aim of creating a spirit of community around sport , we organize dynamic events and friendly competitions for young people of all ages. The Association also plays a representation role with the competent authorities for the improvement of skateboard facilities in the Gatineau region.
